Wedding Package & Venue Use
How did you hear about Legacy Barn?
Matt’s mom had an event at the Legacy barn a year prior to our engagement, and I enjoy looking at venues. Before the engagement I fell in love with the look of the venue it had big trees, near corn fields, and reception in a barn. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other venues I had researched over the years.

Design & Style
Overall wedding style or vibe
I was going for a rustic, classic, earthy, and artistic vibe.
Color scheme
various shade of green (sage, emerald, sea glass, and eucalyptus), gold, white and black
Décor highlights (arches, centerpieces, signage, lighting, etc.)
various green and white candle sticks on gold candle holders, personal made art (handmade ceramics and embroidery by me, and caricatures, hand written signs, and other art pieces by bridesmaid Betsy Bleed), baby photos on dessert table.
Attire
Wedding attire style
My dress was thrifted from a second hand wedding dress store and had an embroidery like flower/leaf design.
Wedding party attire colors/styles
my bridesmaid had freedom to choose what style they wanted to wear but each had a specific color, with groomsmen having a matching tie. Flower girls had freedom to choose a color that aligned with bridesmaids, they choose emerald. Ring bearer also had an emerald tie.

Advice & Reflections
Best advice for future couples
Make your day unique to you and your relationship!
One thing that made the day feel “perfect”
Everything went smoothly and we were ahead of schedule!
What they loved most about the venue
Hard to say what I loved the most because it was perfect: the space itself (many trees, corn fields, open areas, the barn) and Amie and staff members were very friendly and helpful.
