Legacy Barn’s History

Enjoy the authentic history of Legacy Barn at Leafy Lane Farm. Genuine character like this is hard to come by!

Established in 1884

Constructed in 1884 by William Wesley Smith, our gorgeous barn was later purchased by Dr R.A. Craig in 1949. Later, he converted it into the Leafy Lane Dairy Farm, featuring award-winning Guernsey milking herds and robust landscaping. This iconic destination tells an exciting story with rustic elegance for formal occasions and casual gatherings.

Our Legendary Team.

Hello Friends! We want to take a moment to introduce ourselves. Our names are Tyler and Amie Barnes and we are the new owners of Legacy Barn. We have been married for 13 years and have 4 beautiful girls, also known as the Barnes Beauties. Tyler works as a Pharmacist for Community Health Network and Amie has an MFA in design and a background in marketing, but we both have a passion for serving others. Amie will help coordinate and design your special event and make sure everything runs flawlessly. Tyler helps with setup and cleanup and grounds maintenance. We would love to meet with you and talk about how we can help make your wedding or special event dreams come true!
