  • We offer a range of packages to fit every event. Weddings are our speciality, but we also love hosting parties. From a 3-Day wedding weekend, to a Graduation Celebration our team will customize the day to match your dreams.

  • The indoor barn space comfortably hosts up to 150 seated guests for ceremonies and receptions.

    Can Legacy Barn hold more than 150 guests?

    Yes — when you include outdoor space with a tent, there’s flexibility to host a larger event, up to 250 guests when outdoor tented areas are included. Additional fees do apply.

  • If possible, I always suggest booking your wedding at least a year in advance. This allows you to visit our venue in the season you are planning on getting married in. You will get a better feel for lighting, temperature, trees, and flowers that will be in bloom at that time. Booking a year ahead also helps us ensure you get the date you are hoping for! However, dates during our busy seasons do tend to book up more than one year in advance.

  • We actually offer several ceremony sites! From indoors to outdoors, we have 6 unique ceremony locations to fit your vision.

    1. The Walnut Grove, a shaded option great for sunset ceremonies.

    2. The Old Wooden Cross, custom made from our barn’s beams.

    3. Down the Staircase, perfect for a breathtaking entrance.

    4. The Outdoor Patio, a great way to incorporate nature while staying on cement.

    5. In the Barn, a wonderful option for rainy or chilly days.

    6. At the Pond (opening Summer 2026)

  • Many engaged clients ask, when should I schedule my wedding planning meetings. My best answer is reach out when you have items you are ready to discuss. Typically, I see engaged clients 9months, 6months, and 3months in advance. This timeline doesn’t not suit everyone so your schedule could look like 6months, 4months, 2months or 3months, 2months, 1month. Do not feel pressure to schedule a meeting unless you have questions you would like answered. We can always meet in person of via call. *This service is complimentary to wedding packages and is not typically offered to party packages.

  • The busiest months at Legacy Barn consist of May, June, September, October and November. Dates during these months book up very quickly. If you would like to reserve a date during these months, we recommend booking more than a year in advance.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form! We’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • Collaborative, creative, and fun. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table. Event planning should not be overwhelming Let us take the worry and stress off of your shoulders!

  • I would love a sparkler send off to end my big day! What are your restrictions? Sparklers are one of our most common send off activities! Our policy allows guests to use sparklers outside of the barn. For safety, our staff will collect the used sticks in a fire safe container after the send off. If you are anticipating several children, I would also suggest using a kid safe alternative option such as bubbles or bells in addition to the sparklers. Cold sparks must also be used outside of the barn.

  • Some of my guests have trouble walking, especially in grass and gravel. Do you have any suggestions? Yes! With every Legacy Barn wedding booking we offer complimentary golf cart services. We will assist you and your guests navigate the grounds. This is a great amenity for anyone who has trouble walking as well as any guests in stilettos or large dresses.

  • I would like to book a 1 day wedding at Legacy. How long will I have the barn? Our 1 day wedding package allows you access to the barn from 8:00am - 11:00pm. That is 15 hours of joyful celebrations!

  • Does Legacy Barn offer party packages? Yes, in addition to weddings, Legacy also offers party packages for showers, birthdays, graduations, and corporate events. Let the fun memories begin!

  • Our clients love the Legacy Barn 2-Day Wedding Package! This offering gives you access to the barn and all 12 acres the day before your wedding as well as the day of. Take your time and relax as we set up and decorate on Friday. Amie will serve as your wedding coordinator and facilitate rehearsal for your wedding party. This gives your friends and family a chance to practice on site without a rush. Feel free to enjoy rehearsal dinner and a bonfire on site as you soak in the joy. The morning of your big day will be much more enjoyable and less stressed!

  • Did you know Legacy now has our own liquor license? We also have bartenders on staff. Legacy Barn must purchase all liquor for the event, this is no cost to you. You can choose to have a cash bar, open bar, or hybrid:

    -Cash bar- your guests buy the drinks (ranging from $2-$8)
    -Open bar- you pre pay per guest prior to the event (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are then complimentary for your guests)
    -Hybrid bar- you put $X.XX amount (ex: $500) for complimentary drinks. When we hit that threshold, the bartender will convert into a cash bar.

    We offer a large menu for you to review and select the best drink options for your big day. This list includes a variety of mixed drinks, wines, and beers as well as Coca Cola products and coffee.

  • Yes! Legacy Barn features a large cement patio on the north side of the barn. This area is perfect for outdoor dancing under the stars with a band or DJ. This is also one of our many ceremony sites!

  • I am ready to book a wedding with Legacy Barn! What do payments look like? No matter which wedding package you choose, Legacy Barn requires a $1,000 non-refundable deposit to save your date. The remaining balance will be divided up into equal monthly installments so that your wedding will be paid off 30 days prior to the “I do’s”. You can pay by card, cash, or check.

  • When do ceremonies at Legacy Barn usually start? You set your wedding ceremony start time whenever you would like. Our most popular wedding ceremony time is 4:30. This would put cocktail hour at 5:00p, dinner at 6:00pm, and open dancing at 7:00p.

  • Yes, we do! December - March weddings have a lot to offer! 1. The barn is heated upstairs and downstairs. You will be warm and cozy even if it is snowing! 2. Less competition for dates. Because this is not our busy season, you will have a higher chance of getting the exact date you are looking for! 3. Who doesn’t love romantic snow photos, hot chocolate & cider, and evergreen garlands. Plus: you are much less likely to be sweaty on your big day!

  • I am a little stressed about planning the schedule for my wedding day! Can you help? Yes, each Legacy Wedding Package includes planning and coordination services. We will schedule (3) one hour planning meeting to review vendors, layouts, decor, timelines and more. You will also receive a day-of coordinator that will set up tables, chairs, and linens, assist in decorating, facilitate rehearsal, communicate and collaborate with vendors, receive and guide guests, manage the schedule, and resolve any unforeseen challenges.

  • What happens if it rains on my wedding day? We always have a rainy day plan. If it is sprinkling on your wedding day and you still want to have the ceremony outside, we have 50+ umbrellas to help keep your guests dry. If it is raining, we can move the ceremony indoors! It!only takes a few minutes for the Legacy team to flip from a ceremony set up to your reception layout! While we are rearranging the main floor, your guests can enjoy hors’d’oeuvres downstairs.

  • Does Legacy offer both ceremony and reception services? Yes! Our packages include both beautiful ceremony locations as well as fantastic reception options. This allows you and your guests to spend more time enjoying each other’s company instead of driving from one place to another.

  • Yes, we do allow candles inside the barn with careful monitoring and additional safety guidelines. A live flame can be used inside the building if it is in a glass container. If any staff member sees a guest acting unsafely with the a flame, all candles will be removed. Legacy Barn also provides battery operated candles for complimentary use to any event.

  • Legacy prohibits the use of weapons and firearms on site.

    We also prohibit the use of confetti and glitter bombs on premises. This is to ensure a clean environment during your event and the following.

    We ask that and flower petals used during ceremonies be fresh or dried petals. Artificial petals are not allowed.

  • Yes, smoking is allowed at Legacy Barn as long as it is outside. Several receptacles are available to keep the campus free from littering.

  • Yes, we love having furry friends at our events. We do ask that all pets remain on a leash during their visit. Please pick up after your pet. Can you imagine a bride walking through your dog’s number two?!

  • The only required vendor at Legacy Barn is our in house bartending service. You can choose any DJ, Photographer, Florist, and Caterer. If you need help finding vendor, we would love to give you recommendations.

  • Yes! Legacy Barn features a high quality built in sound system upstairs and downstairs. This system is controlled by a tablet and is available for used with any rental package. We also have microphones for speeches or karaoke!

  • Yes! Legacy Barn is equipped with several televisions available for event use. The main floor features a hidden 80” TV perfect for slideshows and presentations.
